A man was arrested in Denver on Monday after police thought he was a different suspect. Police were looking for a man that might have left Aurora for Denver after an alleged domestic violence incident. Police arrested the other man because he was running from police during their search.

The man that the police were actually looking for turned himself into police on Monday. This comes after an incident where police believe a man hit a woman, who sustained minor injuries. He will now face assault and battery charges related to the alleged domestic violence incident.

According to reports he has a history of robbery and assault, and may have two felony warrants for his arrest. All of these allegations and charges will have to be rigorously investigated to make sure the man is treated fairly. Someone who is accused of such serious crimes might be wise to speak with an experienced criminal defense attorney. They can help a person defend their reputation and form a rigorous defense.

Sometimes, a person is judged based on their past. If people are judged on their past, they might never be able to re-enter into society after serving a sentence for a past crime. It is important that each person is treated fairly during and after an arrest, and that they are considered innocent until proven guilty for each accusation that might arise. It might be wise for a person facing criminal charges to speak with an experienced criminal defense attorney before speaking with authorities.
